Tourism Tasmania Trade Connect Program
Tourism Tasmania has launched its new Trade Connect Program, which will provide international trade ready operators with a 50 per cent discount on attendance fees for select Tourism Australia Marketplace events in 2025.
The subsidy will support these operators with attending Marketplace events in India in August, USA in September and China in November, providing operators with the chance to meet and do business with qualified travel distribution companies in these key markets.
Attending operators will directly promote tourism offerings to retail travel agents, wholesalers and inbound tour operators, and provide the opportunity to meet with airlines and Tourism Australia in-market teams. This will help increase the state's in-market presence and international visitation.
Tourism Tasmania will also host additional events during Marketplace, providing operators with further opportunities to engage with the travel trade sector. These events may include business to business meetings, destination and product showcases, roundtable meetings, and other relevant activities.
Tourism Australia manages applications and attendance at Marketplace events, with financial support through the Trade Connect Program available to all approved Tasmanian operators attending this year’s events in India, USA and China
Operators will cover their travel costs to Marketplace events, which do not form part of this support.
