Travel trade training initiative

TasTalk is a biennial travel trade event that invites representatives from the domestic travel trade industry and ATEC Member Buyers from around Australia to meet with Tasmanian tourism operators in face-to-face interviews. This year's TasTalk event was scheduled to be held in Launceston, but due to restrictions on travel as a result of COVID-19, delivery of the event was re-imagined into an online experience.

Tourism Tasmania has produced TasTalk...the Movie, to keep Tasmania top of mind with the travel trade and keep travel sellers connected with the state so they can share their knowledge with clients when it’s safe to visit again.

TasTalk...the Movie was produced with the support of 49 trade-ready Tasmanian tourism operators and the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC). It will be used on an ongoing basis to promote Tasmania to travel trade in Tourism Tasmania’s domestic and global target markets, and is available to view on the trade-focused Tassie Trade website.
