New Tourism Tasmania CEO

Sarah Clark is the new Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Tasmania.
Tasmanian born and raised, Sarah has served on Tourism Tasmania’s board since September 2021 and brings significant skills and global experience to the CEO role, having been a leader in the tourism industry specialising in travel and marketing across multiple continents.
Sarah is taking over the helm of Tourism Tasmania as the state’s tourism industry is entering an exciting new period with the development of the 2030 Visitor Economy Strategy well underway.
Sarah’s recent roles include working at Intrepid Travel, the world’s largest adventure travel company, with previous senior roles including leading the global youth business as Global General Manager and as Vice President for STA Travel in Dallas, leading strategy for air, product, marketing and online performance.
Sarah’s deep understanding of sustainable travel from an industry operator and customer perspective will serve her well as we continue to deliver our plan for Tasmania’s tourism sector and maintain the positive impacts it contributes to our State.
