Industry Masterclasses
Tourism operators wanting to grow, evolve and future-proof their business are invited to attend a series of practical Tourism Tasmania Masterclasses this spring.
These free sessions are led by Tourism Tasmania’s in-house experts and focus on the areas we know best: digital capability, data insights, marketing, media, and distribution.
Expect up-to-date trends, practical tools, and strategic guidance to help Tasmanian tourism businesses stand out in an increasingly competitive and fast-changing landscape.
While you're welcome to attend just one, we encourage operators to register for all three held in September, October and November to take full advantage of the series
Masterclass 1 - Messaging and markets
Part 1: Marketing, messaging and media
The first session covers three key areas to sharpen your storytelling and media engagement:

Part 2: Travel distribution networks and international readiness

In this session, we'll cover:
- How travel distribution works and why it matters
- How to build partnerships with trade
- How to align with Tasmania’s international markets and tailor your offering to meet customer preferences

International Program Update webinar
Tourism operators wanting to learn more about Tourism Tasmania's 2025-26 International Program are encouraged to attend our International Program Update webinar on 26 August.
The webinar, to be held from 3-4pm, will include updates on our international market mix, performance and strategy, and an outline of planned international market activities in 2025-26.
Tourism Tasmania's international marketing activities focus on growing awareness of our tourism offering, along with working on increasing visitation from seven markets. These include New Zealand, Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong, USA and the UK, as well as the emerging India market.
Activity includes public relations, content creation, broadcast, trade development and engagement and tactical conversion partnerships with key travel distribution companies.
Tourism Tasmania also delivers a global travel trade training and visitation program that showcases our tourism offering to international travel trade and media.
