A famil (short for 'familiarisation') allows travel trade professionals and media to experience Tasmania's tourism products first hand. These curated visits help delegates gain in depth knowledge so they can effectively promote and sell our destination.
Famils are an opportunity to showcase your business to travel agents, wholesalers, inbound tour operators and media from Australia and around the world. We encourage operators to support famil visits to generate coverage and drive visitation to Tasmania.
For more information on our famil program, get in touch with our famils team.
We participate in domestic and international trade shows, events and missions to promote Tasmania and connect operators with travel distribution partners. These events provide face to face opportunities to meet with travel agents, wholesalers and inbound tour operators who can help bring more visitors to Tasmania.
