The Off Season

The Off Season runs each year between May and August, and is designed to help drive visitation to Tasmania during the traditionally quieter months.

Now in its sixth year, consistency remains central to the campaign. The Off Season's bold black, white and neon look gives the cooler months in Tasmania a distinct identity, and by showcasing unique operator winter products and experiences, it makes the case that a Tasmanian winter holiday is different to the mainland.

Event organisers

Winter events and festivals are an important part of the Off Season campaign. If your event is scheduled to occur during the Off Season period of 1 May to 31 August, we’d love to know about it. Please create an event profile in the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse.
