Winter suits Launceston

Launceston has been named one of Australia's 10 best winter holiday destinations by Expedia, one of the world's largest online travel booking platforms.

Expedia's Stay Here Winter list identifies destinations that offer better value in winter compared to summer, based on the platform's booking data.

Launceston continues to grow its reputation as one of only two UNESCO Cities of Gastronomy in Australia. Combined with the Tamar Valley wine region, natural values and Off Season offers and events, the destination offers travellers genuine reason to visit in winter.
