Save the date, Hobart!

For the first time, Tasmania is hosting ATEC Meeting Place, and registrations are now open. Mark your calendar if you haven’t already: 26–28 October, Hobart. Early bird registrations are open until 30 June.

ATEC Meeting Place is where tourism operators (sellers) meet key travel distributors (buyers) actively searching for fresh, commissionable product to take to international audiences. It's one of the most direct pathways to growing your trade presence.

We'll kick things off at the welcome event, hosted by Tourism Tasmania. We have curated a range of pre and post event itineraries so delegates can experience firsthand what Tasmania offers international visitors. These experiences are designed to deepen their connection with Tasmania and leave them with something lasting to take home to help them promote Tasmania to their clients.

To participate as a seller, you'll need to be (or become) an ATEC member and be trade ready. If you are not an ATEC member, or are unable to commit to the full event, you can still get amongst it through the networking events or conference program.

Support available to become trade ready

There is still time to become trade ready before ATEC Meeting Place. Tourism Tasmania are offering eligible businesses the opportunity to participate in ATEC’s Tourism Trade Ready Program, including funding to complete the self-directed eLearning course.  If you are not sure if you or your business is ready, complete the expression of interest form or get in touch with the Trade Engagement team to discuss further.
