You’re invited to a series of interactive workshops to help you prepare for the new Spirit of Tasmania ships.

The ‘Spirit Readiness Workshops’ will be held in Devonport on 1 July and Launceston on 2 July. They will include:

  • A two hour workshop hosted and facilitated by either West by North West or Visit Northern Tasmania
  • An update from Spirit of Tasmania on the ships and their visitor experience and market strategy.
  • An overview from Tourism Tasmania on the types of visitors who will travel on the new vessels, including their travel and spending patterns.
  • An update from Tourism Industry Council Tasmania on the planning to ensure the ships benefit the visitor economy, along with operators having success in the self drive, caravan, and motorhome market.
  • Questions for and how to work with the Spirit of Tasmania.

The Spirit Readiness Workshops are hosted by the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania in partnership with the Spirit of Tasmania, West by North West and Visit Northern Tasmania.
