Workshops to prepare for the Spirit of Tasmania ships

You’re invited to attend a ‘Spirit Readiness Workshop’ to help you prepare for the new Spirit of Tasmania ships. Held in Devonport on 1 July and Launceston on 2 July, they will include:

• A two hour workshop hosted and facilitated by either West by North West or Visit Northern Tasmania.
• An update from Spirit of Tasmania on the ships and their visitor experience and market strategy.
• An overview from Tourism Tasmania on the types of visitors who will travel on the new vessels, including their travel and spending patterns.
• An update from Tourism Industry Council Tasmania on the plan to ensure the ships benefit the visitor economy, along with operators having success in the self drive, caravan and motorhome market.
• Questions for, and how to work with, the Spirit of Tasmania.
