Emergency grants for bushfire-affected communities

The Australian and Tasmanian governments have activated Emergency Assistance Grants for Dolphin Sands, Glenlusk and Levendale residents displaced by recent bushfires, helping with the cost of essential shelter, food, transport and personal items.

Our thoughts are with the Tasmanian communities impacted by these fires.
We're also reminding tourism businesses to be prepared for bushfire emergencies, with the Tasmania Fire Service's 'Bushfire: Why risk it?' website offering resources including Bushfire Plans, Safety Guides, and visitor materials in English and Mandarin.
