Godfreys Beach has made the Top 10 Best Australian Beaches For 2026 list

Godfreys Beach has made the Top 10 Best Australian Beaches For 2026 list, putting Stanley and The Nut on the map for the coming year! 

This year’s list places Godfreys Beach amongst Australia’s most beautiful beaches including this year’s winner Bate Bay Beaches in New South Wales.

The Best Australian Beaches list is compiled by Brad Farmer (MAICD) using an exhaustive 130-point evaluation criteria. Brad is an Australian conservationist, advocate, author and beach connoisseur and has been writing about beaches for almost 40 years having visited most of Australia’s accessible beaches in his research travels. 

It is a huge honour for another Tasmanian beach to make the top 10 again this year, after Bay of Fires took the top spot at number 1 for 2025’s list.
