We're looking for tourism operators across Tasmania to be part of the famil program for travel buyers attending ATEC Meeting Place 2026, and expressions of interest are now open.
Meeting Place is coming to Hobart for the first time from 26 to 28 October, bringing more than 500 delegates including around 120 international travel buyers from our key visitor markets. Before and after the event, Tourism Tasmania is delivering a curated program of famils designed to immerse these buyers in what Tasmania offers international visitors.
We're seeking operators who can contribute accommodation, tours, experiences, transport, or food and beverage offerings to help bring these itineraries to life.
The famil program spans Tasmania's four main regions, with itineraries ranging from two to five nights in duration. Pre event famils commence on 21 October 2026 and return to Hobart in time for Meeting Place commencing on 26 October. Post event famils depart after the event concludes, from 29 October.
Each itinerary is designed to give buyers a direct experience of the destination, deepening their connection with Tasmania and equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to promote our tourism experiences to their clients and international audiences.
Expressions of interest are open to tourism operators across Tasmania. Operators with ATEC membership will be prioritised, but membership is not essential to apply.
Submit your expression of interest using the online form. EOIs close on Wednesday 15 August 2026.
Please note that submitting your interest does not guarantee participation in the ATEC Meeting Place 26 famil program, and that allocation of famils is at the discretion of Tourism Tasmania.
