Australian Cruise Conference 2027
Hobart will host the Australian Cruise Association’s national conference in 2027, bringing cruise industry leaders, destinations and supply partners from across the globe to Tasmania.
The 2027 conference will be held at LUMINA, the new event space at The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, recognised among the World's 50 Best Hotels.
Cruise shipping is an important part of Tasmania's visitor economy, injecting an estimated $130 million a year to the state and supporting tourism operators and communities around Tasmania.
Under the Cruise Action Plan, our goal is to grow value over volume and support regional dispersal, ensuring the sector’s contribution to Tasmania has a positive impact on our communities and our environment.
As a world-class port city and one of only five Antarctic gateways globally, Hobart is well placed to host the conference and highlight opportunities in the growing expedition and polar cruise sector.
Hosting the national cruise conference gives us a valuable opportunity to showcase our state, share our vision for sustainable cruise growth and strengthen connections across the industry.
Tourism Tasmania won the bid for the 2027 Australian Cruise Conference in partnership with TasPorts, Business Events Tasmania, Hobart City Council and Destination Southern Tasmania.
