The Tourism Industry Council Tasmania’s Dialogue Breakfast explores how sport and major events are shaping Tasmania’s visitor economy. Panellists Brendon Gale (Tasmania Football Club), Anne Beach (Macquarie Point Development Corporation) and Trent Jacobs (Tasmania JackJumpers and Jewels) will look at how sporting teams, events and infrastructure can attract new visitors and encourage them to stay longer and explore more of the state.
Hobart Airport will share its plans for enabling the future of Tasmania’s visitor economy, and Stadiums Tasmania will outline its strategy for bringing more major events to the island. The panel will be facilitated by TICT CEO Amy Hills, with audience Q&A to follow.
The Dialogue Breakfast takes place on Thursday 19 November at Wrest Point, Hobart from 7:30am to 9am.
