provides the strategic direction and blue-print for action to improve the performance, competitiveness and structural efficiency of the tourism industry in Tasmania.

Tourism Tasmania and the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT ) have jointly prepared this three year Strategic Business Plan as part of the ongoing review of the highly successful Tourism 21 strategic plan that has guided industry development since 1997.

Tasmania is well positioned to welcome visitors from all parts of the world – to engage them fully in an inspiring Tasmanian experience and have them return again soon.

Tourism Tasmania and the industry will work together to promote and enhance our precious natural and historic heritage.

This plan sets out how we will take advantage of the many extraordinary opportunities and meet the challenges ahead.
