Marketing and development for Tasmania’s tourism industry

A wide range of tools and resources are available to help Tasmania's tourism industry take advantage of the many benefits available through Tas e-Connect.
The Digital Coach program is offered online and includes basic, intermediate and advanced sessions to help tourism businesses become e-enabled. It incorporates a series of easy to complete tutorials that help tourism operators learn how to conduct business and market on-line.
The Digital Coach program is now underway and will be completed by June 2010.
The program aims to build industry capacity to take advantage of opportunities presented to improve business outcomes and tourism outcomes for the state.
A supercoach Frankie Forsythe will mentor and coach a team of Digital Coaches - Tess Dryza, Michelle Frost, Ian Whitehouse, Angus Sprott and Jason Bresnehan.
This free opportunity is available to operators via their Local Tourism Association or sector group. Contact your LTA to register your interest in the program.
The Digital coaches will be visiting your area for a face to face meeting to outline the details of the program and how it will benefit your business. The meeting schedule is available from your local tourism association. The meetings will be conducted from the 7th- 19 April.
