National Markets and Creative Services

The National Markets and Creative Services unit maximises all elements of the marketing mix to stimulate consumer interest in, and awareness of, Tasmania; builds brand appeal; and drives conversion. They specialise in an in-depth understanding of interstate and intrastate consumers and the types of tourism experiences and products that appeal to them.

The unit delivers integrated marketing campaigns to position Tasmania as an appealing destination and to increase visitor numbers and helps in the development and promotion of holiday experiences which meet consumer needs and aspirations. Activities include campaign development, promotion and advertising - all aimed at increasing interstate and intrastate holiday visitors to Tasmania and increasing their spend.

The unit also provides stills and moving footage for tourism industry purposes through Tourism Tasmania’s image library and marketing support services such as desktop publishing, collateral development and production, and participation at trade shows and exhibitions.
