Infrastructure and Investment

The Infrastructure and Investment unit assists in the creation of new tourism infrastructure that adds to the beautiful natural surroundings and/or rich heritage our visitors have come to enjoy. To achieve this, Tourism Tasmania is working with the Tourism Industry Council of Tasmania to develop a long-term tourism infrastructure plan as an important part of the Tourism 21 planning process.

The unit proactively identifies future tourism infrastructure needs and opportunities, and provides expert resources to further develop this capability. Importantly, the unit is also helping create a smoother pathway through government for potential investors.
