The Digital Services unit specialises in digital media to
stimulate consumer interest and awareness of Tasmania, build
brand appeal and drive conversion. The unit comprises Website
Publishing, E-Marketing and Digital Distribution.
The Website Publishing team oversees the researching, sourcing,
design and integrity of digital content to maximise Tasmania's
online tourism presence. They provide advice and resources
to the marketing teams and external partners to ensure creative
and effective digital marketing; are responsible for maintaining
brand consistency online; and manage and maintain the content
management systems and technical equipment for all digital
services.
The E-Marketing team works across Marketing and Commercial
Operations to deliver effective digital marketing of Tasmania.
They develop and deliver e-based marketing campaigns, monitor
global digital communications innovations, adopt relevant new
advances, and keep key stakeholders informed of future developments
and market trends.
The Digital Distribution group is responsible for sourcing,
maintaining and presenting database information on all Tasmanian
tourism products. They ensure content is aligned with Australian
Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) requirements to maximise content
alignment; use web analytics to monitor campaign and consumer
website response to better understand, predict response, and
target consumers; and through search engine optimisation (SEO)
push exposure of Agency websites.
