Marketing and development for Tasmania’s tourism industry

Call for expressions of interest for industry representatives.
The Australian Government has been working with State and Territory Governments and the Australian tourism industry to develop a National Tourism Accreditation Framwork (NTAF).
NTAF will be an important vehicle for driving imporvement in the quality of Australia's tourism product.
To achieve this it will offer eligible quality and accreditation program providers the opportunity to apply for a licence to co-brand with the NTAF and benefit from being associated with a nationally and internationally recognised brand mark.
The Tourism Quality Council of Australia (TQCA) will be responsible for the overarching direction and policy of NTAF and the grant of NTAF licensing rights to eligible programs and schemes. TQCA will comprise an Independent Chair, a representative from the Australian Standing Committee on Tourism, Tourism Australia and the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism plus a number of industry representatives.
Expressions of Interest are invited from suitably qualified industry representatives to be a representative on TQCA.
Successful applicants will have demonstrated commitment and interest in the improvement of quality within the tourism industry with experience or skill in at least one of the following areas:
