
Qantas Airways has announced it will significantly increase capacity between Melbourne and Hobart from 13 February to 23 March 2012.
The changes will see 18 additional services added to the schedule - injecting 3024 seats to the market.
Details of the additional services include:
Qantas Regional General Manager Tasmania Stephen Farquer said, "Qantas is always focused on meeting increased market demands and responding with extra capacity, where possible.
"These additional services will provide our customers with seamless connections to and from the Qantas Group's international and domestic network out of Melbourne.
"Hobart is a very important market for Qantas and we will continue to monitor demand to support tourism within the region," Mr Farquer said.
